What is food insecurity?
Food insecurity is the inadequate or insecure access to food due to financial constraints. It is a serious problem in Canada that negatively impacts physical, mental, and social health, and costs our healthcare system considerably.

Learning Your Lease

The Residential Tenancy Agreement (Standard Form of Lease) is the standard lease that Ontario landlords must use when they are renting out a private residential unit, and entering into a tenancy agreement with a tenant. It includes 17 sections and an Appendix with some basic information.

Menstrual Hygiene Initiative

In 2017, the CSA ran a referendum question that supports the collection of a mandatory fee of $0.90 per semester from undergraduate students with the intention of supplying free menstrual hygiene products. These products, that include pads and tampons, are offered at many highly accessed female and universal washrooms on campus free of charge.
