The University Centre Board of Directors is mandated with managing the operations of the University Centre (UC). As a central building used by students on campus for organizational and social space, and as a building that was built and continues to be funded by student fees, the CSA believes that the University Centre should be controlled by students.

The current University Centre Board of Directors structure has a majority student membership, which has 10 undergraduate members and 5 alternates appointed on behalf of the CSA for 2-year terms. Undergraduate representatives vote in the best interest of the University Centre, the University Centre Board, and undergraduate students.

The criteria for selecting candidates is:
•    Understanding of issues of student space
•    Understanding of being an undergraduate student representative
•    Relevant experience to the position
•    Understanding of the role of the University Centre Board of Directors
•    Ability to fulfill the time requirements expected.
