Core Services —
Bike Centre —
The Bike Centre is a do-it-yourself bike repair shop. The volunteer team provides access to tools, parts, training, and workshops for bike maintenance.
The Bullring —
The Bullring serves up comfy study lounge spots, fair trade organic coffee, and a diverse affordable menu by its student staff.
CSA Clubs —
Explore a new hobby and make new friends with the wide range of clubs accredited through the CSA!
Guelph Student FoodBank —
The Guelph Student FoodBank provides students access to emergency food, anti-poverty resources, and referrals to other food security, anti-poverty and financial assistance groups.
SafeWalk —
SafeWalk is a student-run volunteer organization that provides a safe & reliable escort after dark for anyone on campus. Available all week from 7:30pm to 2:30am.
SHAC —
SHAC is a student-run advocacy & referral centre that provides a safe space for students to ask questions and provides human rights advocacy, academic, legal, tenancy, and financial resources.
Student Bus Pass —
CSA and GSA have partnered with Guelph Transit in order to create the universal student bus pass, which allows you unlimited access to the Guelph Public Transit system at a much better rate than the monthly fee.
Health & Dental Plan —
The Student Health and Dental Plan is a valuable benefit made possible by your CSA. Eligible students are automatically enrolled and are able to claim a comprehensive set of extended health & dental benefits.
Printing & Promo Services —
The CSA provides many printing & promotional services to students and on-campus groups at heavily discounted prices, available through the Front Office and Promo Office, respectively.
Initiatives and Programming —
Menstrual Hygiene Initiative —
The Menstrual Hygiene Initiative provides menstrual hygiene products (tampons, pads, etc.) to students, free of charge. These products are available in all female & universal washrooms located in the University Centre, Athletics Centre, Bullring cafe and Rozanski Hall.
Live Events —
Campus culture is enhanced by a variety of entertainment opportunities for students including free Noon Hour performances, large-scale ticketed concerts, speaker events, and co-sponsorship of campus-wide events like Orientation Week.
Sunday Cinema —
For your entertainment and enlightenment, the CSA's Sunday Cinema features various film screenings, including Hollywood blockbusters, indie films, and Canadian and international documentaries.
thecannon.ca —
A joint venture of the CSA and the Guelph Campus Co-op, thecannon.ca is an online community for University of Guelph students. Whether you are buying or selling used textbooks, looking to give or get a ride home, or searching for information about activities - it’s all online.
Survival Guide —
The Central Student Association's annual Survival Guide is stuffed full of useful features: a daily planner and event calendar, a campus information guide, a campus map and additional academic, social and health information.
Affordable Ink Refills —
Our professional ink refilling service can be used for most black and colour printer cartridges (inkjet, bubblejet and laser). The prices to refill are a fraction of what it costs to purchase a new cartridge.
