Health and Dental Plan
Keeping you happy and healthy is a big priority for your Central Student Association, which is why we have developed the Student Health & Dental Insurance Plan!
Through Gallivan, we are able to provide coverage to all undergraduate students at the University of Guelph and cover a variety of prescriptions & procedures. For more information on your Student Health & Dental Plan, please visit the MyStudentPlan website.
The Health Plan is a mandatory universal plan and as such does not provide an opt-out; the Dental Plan offers a one-time opt-out with proof of alternate coverage..
2021 - 2022 Coverage
The benefit year begins September 1, 2021, and ends August 31, 2022. Even if you are not enrolled for summer classes, you will still be covered by the plan until August 31. If you are a NEW Winter registrant, your benefit year begins January 1, 2021, and ends August 31, 2022.
- Winter Entry Students: Students who are charged the Health and Dental fee in Winter 2022, will be automatically enrolled in both Plans by mid to late February (approximately 45 days from the start date of their program).
Please check out our calendar for important Health & Dental Plan dates and deadlines.
