CSA Return to Campus Survey: Advocacy for Students Survey Initial Report

As we adjust to the ongoing changes of the pandemic, the CSA Executives want to better understand what supports you are looking for with return to campus and where we should focus our advocacy efforts. We'd like to ensure that we are accurately advocating for you, and this works best when we know directly what our students are feeling.

To do this, the CSA released a survey via social media and our email newsletter to gather student response regarding the University's return to campus plan, including what actions they'd like to see from the University and how the CSA could better adovcated for them. The survey was live from January 24th, 2022 to February 1st, 2022 and we received over 5,000 responses. We want to thank our undergraduate students for taking the time to participate!

The attached report presents the data results of the survey and was presented to University administration at the Student Leaders and Admin Meeting on Monday, February 7th, 2022. It has also been shared with additional campus partners, including senior administration. Attached is also a copy of the survey questions.

Due to the quantity of responses, individual student responses to open-ended questions are currently being analyzed and will be presented in the future.
