CSA Mourning with UofG Community

The Central Student Association is mourning the loss of two University of Guelph graduate students killed in the tragic crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 near Tehran on January 8.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of these graduate students, the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics, and the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies, and all those impacted by this tremendous loss.

There is a vigil to honour the two students who were aboard the Ukraine International Airlines flight being held today at 7pm in War Memorial Hall. The vigil is being organized by the Guelph Iranian Student Association.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and a slideshow will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Members of the University community will be speaking including faculty who worked with the students. For those who can’t make it, the vigil will be streaming live on the U of G YouTube channel.
