THE GUELPH STUDENT FOODBANK IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW VISITORS. ELIGIBLE STUDENTS CAN SUBMIT AN INTAKE FORM AND THE COORDINATOR WILL REACH OUT ONCE THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN REVIEWED. STUDENTS EXPERIENCING A FOOD EMERGENCY ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THE GUELPH FOOD ACCESS GUIDE HERE.

The Guelph Student FoodBank deeply appreciates the support of donors. We accept both food and monetary donations. Please see below for more information about each type of donation.


Food Donations

If you are interested in donating food, please email foodbank@uoguelph.ca to set up a time to drop off your items. The items we are most in need of include but are not limited to: tuna, pasta, dry beans and lentils, peanut butter, jam, flour, sugar, cooking oil, coffee/tea, cereal, granola bars, crackers, seasoning (salt, pepper, spices, etc.) shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, bar soap, oral hygiene products such as toothpaste, and toilet paper.

Monetary Donations

We accept both cash and cheque donations. Cheques should be made out to the Central Student Association with “Guelph Student FoodBank” in the memo line. Please email foodbank@uoguelph.ca to set up a time to drop off your donation. Regrettably, we are not able to provide tax receipts.
