Orientation Week
Details
Saturday September 3
Block Party featuring Mainline!
Time & Location: 9pm-12am, Branion Plaza Stage
Rain Location: University Centry Courtyard
Co-presented by the Central Student Association & CFRU 93.3 FM
Mainline! is the live Disco Experience. The Big Smoke Disco Sound! We play a mixed bag that embraces the all-encompassing diversity that Disco music and its culture typify. We are equal parts funk, jazz, afro, soul, boogie, rare groove, reggae, gospel and proto-house, with the sole aim of making the people groove. We escape the glitter-soaked trappings of the hit parade by playing the music that we really enjoy, casting light on some neglected and rejected classics!
This is a happening that is not to be missed. DJ sets from CFRU 93.3 FM follow the live show.
