6:00 - 6:45pm | All About COVID-19 with Dr. Amy Greer

Dr. Amy Greer is an infectious disease epidemiologist and mathematical modeler who holds a Canada Research Chair in Population Disease Modeling at the University of Guelph. Dr Greer has been actively involved in outbreak science, and pandemic preparedness and response activities for more than 10 years both as an academic, and former senior scientist at the Public Health Agency of Canada.

She will be chatting with our VP-Student Experience about the latest research on COVID-19 and what how it impacts us individually and on a global scale, and will be answer any questions students have on the topic.


7:00 - 7:45pm | Motivation Monday with Ajay Sharma

Ajay Sharma is a Political Science prof at Guelph. He is a strong advocate for student mental health and ensuring students are inspired and stimulated in his lectures. Ajay Sharma will be talking about how to take care of your mental well-being.


8:00 - 9:00pm | Art as Therapy with Naeco Studio

Naeco Studio was created by Jessica Wilson and it functions as both her portfolio of work as an artist, and a place where she facilitates art therapy. Naeco Studio's approach to art therapy focuses on accessibility, mindfulness, and the individualization of healing by utilizing artistic methods and creativity in cohesion with psychological considerations.

Today's virtual workshop will explain a bit about art therapy and go through a few art therapy exercises for people to try at home. All you need is a writing utensil and a few sheets of paper!
