UC Board – Undergraduate Student Application

Preamble

The University Centre (UC) is a central hub on campus, providing essential organizational and social space for students. Built and continually funded by student fees, the University Centre Board of Directors (UC Board) is mandated with managing its operations. The Central Student Association (CSA) strongly believes the UC should be controlled by students to best serve their interests.

The current UC Board of Directors structure reflects this belief with a majority student membership, including ten undergraduate members and five alternates appointed on behalf of the CSA. These representatives play a crucial role in ensuring student interests are implemented at the UC Board. Undergraduate representatives are expected to formulate their own opinions and vote in the best interest of the University Centre, the University Centre Board, and the undergraduate students. Appointments are for a term of two (2) years, as defined by the University Centre Board of Directors Constitution.
