Board Of Directors Candidates

Toby Ramondino (They/Them) –
College of Arts Director
Hello! I’m Toby Ramondino, a 1st-year Theatre Studies and Psychology student, and I would like to be your College of Arts Director. Should I be elected, I will make all of our voices heard. I will fight for you, and ensure that your work is respected, appreciated and protected, especially during a time where AI usage is on the rise and putting all artists at risk. Whether it be musicians, writers, performers, and everyone who wishes to express their own creativity; as arts students, we frequently need to fight for respect, funding, and for our studies to be taken seriously. On the board of directors, I will be able to address these issues firsthand, and be given the ability to represent the College of Arts as a serious and disciplined study, while staying creative and open-minded like we strive to be.

Eli Fuchs –
College of Computational, Mathematical & Physical Sciences Director
As a 2nd-year Computer Science student, I am running for the Central Student Association (CSA) Board of Directors to represent the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences. I bring a strong background in software development, team collaboration, and problem-solving to ensure our student union operates efficiently, transparently, and attentively to your needs. If elected, my priorities will focus on expanding academic support resources for STEM students, and advocating for modern learning tech, improved lab/study spaces, and accessible academic support. I believe in active communication and holding our student government accountable to the students it serves. I would be honored to serve as your voice on the Board of Directors and build a more supportive, and connected campus community. Thank you for your support!

Avery Mann (She/Her) –
Lang School of Business Director
Hi! My name is Avery Mann and I am running to be your student representative for LANG. I am currently a 2nd-year Management student. My favourite hobbies include shopping, baking and reading. While being a student at the University of Guelph, I have participated within the campus community, which has given me great insights into what our student community needs most. I am currently seeking election, as I believe LANG students deserve a representative that will listen to their concerns, be proactive and advocate for what students need and want. I believe it is extremely important all students are given a voice, and I want to be that voice. As a representative my main priorities will be to create an inclusive environment on campus, nurture a safe and positive learning environment for all students and positive learning space, and align leadership actions with student perspectives. A positive campus community starts with creating meaningful change, and I am committed to being a part of that growth.

Harsimar Singh Jaggi (He/Him) –
Lang School of Business Director
My name is Harsimar, and I am an Accounting student in the Lang School of Business. I’m running for Director on the CSA Board because I believe students deserve to feel heard, represented, and informed about the decisions that affect their university experience. As a Lang student, I understand the realities of balancing academics, co-op and student life. If elected, I’ll advocate for greater transparency in decision-making, responsible use of student fees, and better communication between the CSA and Lang students. As someone who values inclusivity and collective growth, I believe in fostering an environment where every student feels they belong and can thrive. Most importantly, I want to be someone you can trust to listen to your concerns, bring them forward, and push for positive change. I’m not running simply for a position; I’m running because I want Lang students to have a stronger voice at the table.
