Why does this matter?
In 1997, students made history when the CSA and its members occupied University executive offices for two weeks to protest tuition increases. This movement led to the creation of the SBC, ensuring student voices are heard in the budgeting process.
Today, the SBC is made up of representatives from PSOs, SSGs, and more (tagged below 👇). We evaluate how University expenditures impact students, propose ideas for strategic investments, and shape recommendations that go straight to the Board of Governors’ Finance Committee.
