Hey there Gryphons! Are you currently renting a room, house, or apartment? If not, are you planning on renting in the future? Whether you are currently renting or are a soon-to-be renter, we are bringing back our Understanding your Lease series from previous years and turning it into an event that will be perfect to become knowledgeable about the lease you may be signing!
This session will walk students through a standard Ontario Lease and all of its sections so students can better understand what they are signing onto when they start renting. We will discuss tenant’s rights, landlord obligations, and some typical renting issues that we often see at SHAC so students can better navigate their renting experience.
There will be a trivia game at the end of this event which students can win some fun prizes! We hope to see you there.
