Election day polling will take place on April 28 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The University Centre will serve as a polling location for election day for those assigned to the University Centre as a polling location.

You can only vote in the University Centre if that is your assigned polling location for advance polling or election day.

More information is also available on the Elections Canada website. You can also vote at any Elections Canada Office from now until April 22 at 6 p.m. 

What you need to vote

Visit the Elections Canada website for the list of ID requirements to vote. 

Students living in residence can obtain a “Proof of Address” letter from the Housing Portal.  When you log in, you will find the link on the right-hand side of the top menu bar.   

You can register to vote online or at your local Elections Canada office by April 22 or in-person at your assigned polling station when you go to vote. You do not need to register in advance to be able to vote.
