CSA President: Quorum Met
Nate Broughton was the only candidate for CSA president. 2825 votes were cast in the election which accounts for a quorum of 11.26% which exceeds the required 10% quorum. The results are as follows:

Vice President, Student Experience: Quorum Met
Pawandeep Singh was the only candidate for VP Student Experience. 2825 votes were cast in the election which accounts for a quorum of 11.26% which exceeds the required 10% quorum. The results are as follows:

William Coleman was the only candidate for VP Academic. 2825 votes were cast in the election which accounts for a quorum of 11.26% which exceeds the required 10% quorum. The results are as follows:

Natalie Wilkinson was the only candidate for VP External. 2825 votes were cast in the election which accounts for a quorum of 11.26% which exceeds the required 10% quorum. The results are as follows:

College of Engineering & Physical Sciences: Quorum Met
There were 3 candidates running for two seats as College of Engineering and Physical Sciences Director, Marcus Aldred-Ganhao, Ethan Warren and Adrian Webster. 539 votes were cast by CEPS students resulting in a quorum of 12.96% which exceeds the 10% requirement. The results are as follows:
Marcus Aldred-Ganhao: 289
Ethan Warren: 248
Adrian Webster: 218

College of Arts: Quorum Met
Jonah Greenhut was the only candidate for College of Arts Director. 283 votes were cast by COA students resulting in a quorum of 12.44% which exceeds the required 10% quorum. The results are as follows:

College of Biological Sciences: Quorum Met
There were 4 candidates running for two seats as College of Biological Sciences Director; Yael Lazebnik, Alex Song, Wedad Alkhaliel and Abdullah Al-Jabji. 804 votes were cast by CBS students resulting in a quorum of 14.93% which exceeds the 10% quorum requirement. The results are as

Lang School of Business: Quorum NOT Met
Trevor Jamensky was the only candidate for Lang School of Business Director. 278 votes were cast by Lang students resulting in a quorum of 5.91% which does not meet the 10% quorum requirement. The results are as follows:
Yes (in favour of candidate): 211
No (not in favour of candidate): 42
Decline: 26
Since quorum was not met, Trevor Jamnesky was not elected as Lang School of Business Director.
Verified Quorum Update – Thursday, March 13, 2025
We have received a total of 1887 responses on the ballot.
Currently, the verified number of votes from all undergraduate students is 1841.
We currently have a quorum of 7.34%
Since there are 25087 total students registered, we will need 2508 students to vote and reach the required 10% quorum for executives.
College of Engineering and Physical Sciences
Currently, the verified number of votes from all CEPS students is 361.
CEPS currently has a quorum of 8.68%
Since there are 4160 total CEPS students registered, 416 students need to vote to reach the required 10% quorum.
College of Arts
Currently, the verified number of votes from all COA Students is 146.
COA currently has a quorum of 6.42%
Since there are 2275 total students registered, 228 students need to vote to reach the required 10% quorum.
College of Biological Sciences
Currently, the verified number of votes from CBS students is 561.
CBS currently has a quorum of 10.61%
Since there are 5383 total CBS students registered, 538 students need to vote to reach the required 10% quorum.
Lang School of Business
Currently, the verified number of votes from Lang students is 183.
Lang currently has a quorum of 3.89%
Since there are 4707 total LANG students registered, 471 students need to vote to reach the required 10% quorum

Starting Monday, February 3, the CSA will be hosting our general election to fill all Executive and Board of Directors positions for the coming academic year. Successful candidates will serve a term of May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. These candidates will represent YOU as an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph, so make sure you do your part in the democratic process by getting informed and casting your vote starting Monday, March 3, 2025 when the polls open. All-Candidate’s Forum
The All-Candidate’s Forum is a chance for undergraduate students to learn more about the candidates in the election and ask them questions about the key issues impacting students and their plans should they be elected. The Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 4:30pm in the UC Courtyard. Students can submit questions to the candidates ahead of the Forum using this Microsoft Forms link. The deadline to submit questions in advance of the Forum is Monday, February 24, at 11:59pm.
Hybrid Polling Stations
For the Winter 2025 General Election, the CSA will be holding hybrid in-person polling stations in locations on campus where students can find out more information about the election and how to vote. The CSA will also have staff circulating in key areas on campus to inform students about the election and encourage them to vote. Check out the list of locations below.
