The CSA will be hosting the 2025-26 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 6:00pm. The AGM will be held in-person at Peter Clark Hall.
As an undergrad, you pay the CSA membership fee. Wonder how your fee is being spent? Come and participate in your Annual General Meeting to learn how we maximize your money through services, events, and opportunities for students! Undergrad attendees will receive the chance to win many prizes, to be announced in the coming weeks!
Exercise Your Rights!
An Annual General Meeting is a meeting of the general membership of an organization.
During the AGM, CSA members review the organization’s performance, discuss future strategies, vote on policy and bylaw changes that have been made by the Board of Directors since the previous AGM, and learn more about the activities of the CSA throughout the academic year. It is also an opportunity to review, discuss, and receive the audited financial statements, approve the CSA auditor for next year, and ask questions to the CSA Executive Committee.
How to Participate in the AGM
The CSA uses Robert’s Rules of Order and an external Chair to conduct Board and Member Meetings in order to run a fair and democratic process. If you are unfamiliar with Robert’s Rules, then please see the resources (below), including the “How to Participate” and “Robert’s Rules of Order Summary” pdfs, to provide you with a basic understanding of Robert’s Rules of Order.
It’s Your Meeting!
If at any time during the AGM you have a question, or are unsure of how to proceed, simply raise your hand, wait for the Chair to recognize you, and then ask your question!
Accommodation
If you require accommodation to attend the AGM, or have any questions, please contact the Policy & Transition Coordinator (PTC) at [email protected].
