Vice President Academic Candidates —

Sean Mitchell:

Studying at UofG has allowed me tremendous learning experiences while also providing opportunities to evaluate how our institution should change. The fallout of COVID-19 pandemic is an opportunity to step back and decide how to address the compounding issues of rising tuition costs, academic stress and frustration with the academic structure of university.

Serving within college government, the CSA Board of Directors and the University Senate has prepared me to effectively advocate and work on the behalf of students’ academic interests, while my rural background has shaped my practical results-driven approach to student government.

I’m asking for your support so I can begin working for a more accessible and affordable learning experience that is accountable to students. It would be my honour to be your VP Academic.
