CSA Noon Hour Concert: Richard Laviolette

Details

A Kazoo! Fest Preview
Co-presented by the Central Student Association & CFRU 93.3 FM

"Laviolette has been making some of the most affecting, outspoken, and catchy folk and rock music to emerge in this century." – Vish Khanna, Kreative Kontrol

There is no doubt that Laviolette is a Guelph hero. An old soul, whose songwriting comes from an intimate place, Laviolette’s ballads never fail to connect with his listeners on a deep, personal level. A voice for the marginalized, Laviolette’s social consciousness permeates all of his songwriting, urging us to be better, more compassionate people. Nobody can create a sense of community amongst their audience the way that Laviolette can. His new album 'Taking the Long Way Home' has just been released.
